Opus Discovery

Finding music is… being lucky enough to click on the correct list or surrendering to black boxes. Can we make recommendation systems more interesting and engaging?

to find new music, I find myself scrolling, clicking, listening, and scrolling some more. With recommendation systems being mainly lists, there is no feeling of serendipity: it's just 'hope' that the algorithm will eventually point me to something I like.

I wonder whether discovering music could feel more like a serendipitous exploration, during which my curiosity is met. This gave rise to Opus Discovery: make navigating music more fun and enriching. It is designed to let you learn more about the things that interest you and to discover new music through connections you didn't know existed.
